Nearly 60% of pet owners think their veterinarian is accredited when they’re NOT. As an AAHA-accredited clinic, we are dedicated to regular onsite evaluations on more than 900 standards of veterinary care.
Did you know? Only about 15% of veterinary practices in Canada hold the AAHA designation!
We use fear-free strategies to ensure your pet has a happy experience at the Vet. You can expect things like calming music, relaxing pheromone diffusers in every room, gentle dog and cat friendly handling. We aim to be a fully accredited fear-free practice in 2021. Did you know in BC it is not a requirement to hire licensed support staff, such as the registered veterinary technicians monitoring your anesthetic or taking care of your pet? At Little Paws we use licensed and trained staff to ensure your pet is receiving the best care possible. We proudly work with technicians who graduate from accredited programs by the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) and passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE). Our technicians are highly qualified to complete procedures, labs, imaging, diagnostics and more!
After every wellness exam, we commit to providing detailed medical documentation that’s shared with clients, so our patient’s history is clear and can be essential for other medical decisions later on in life
Premium Medical and Lab Equipment
This is the Gold Standard for veterinary surgical monitoring. Live recording of vital parameters including blood pressure, electrocardiogram, heart rate, oxygenation, rectal and temperature.
*Includes monitoring of End-Tidal Carbon Dioxide (ETCO2) for most accurate reading for breathing patterns.
We have a complete in house laboratory including diagnostic blood analyzers that performs thorough blood testing for immediate answers to your pet’s ailments.
This is the Gold Standard for X-ray image processing. Developed in partnership with imaging tech leaders like Cannon (2001), Varex Medical (2003) and AGFA Healthcare Imaging (for MUSICA Intelligent Image Processing, which allows you to get more out of radiography than ever before).
With this cloud-based platform, we are able to communicate smoothly with clients, administer required prescriptions, manage extensive medical records and unify patient reports for our ease of access.

What is EPRS? Endless Pawsabilities Rescue Society is a registered not-for-profit organization headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, dedicated to animal welfare.
Endless Pawsabilities’s mission is to prevent pet overpopulation by advocating for spay and neuter programs while also supporting responsible pet ownership. The organization also proactively assists with rescue and adoption efforts throughout North America. Little Paws Animal Clinic partnered with this rescue organization and now provides discounted services to foster animals.
These services, including examinations, vaccines, deworming, and spay and neuter surgeries, help the dogs and cats become eligible for adoption. This partnership also allows the rescue organization to keep costs low so they can continue to rescue more animals. This is our clinic’s way of giving back to a local rescue organization that does great work for a great cause.
