COVID-19 Clinic Policies and Protocols

During this pandemic we are adjusting our clinic operations to ensure safety of clients, pets and staff at all times. For the last year we have been seeing appointments curbside, and using the phone as a means of communication. We are now transitioning into the next phase with a soft opening of the practice.

For your safety, we have installed plexiglass barriers at the reception desk. A maximum number of 3 clients will be allowed in the building at any one time. Increased surface cleaning is performed, a HEPA filter is installed in the exam room and masks with hand hygiene are strictly enforced.

If you want to pick up medications or food:

Please call ahead to order, or order online through our online store which provides direct shipping to your house. Payment will be processed by phone if possible, or by tap upon your arrival. When you arrive please call the front desk, and they will bring your items out to you. Please do not try to enter the building as we are limiting occupancy within the clinic.

When you book an appointment:

The receptionist will collect your details by phone and inform you of our COVID-19 protocols.

Who can come to the appointment:

Currently we are only allowing 1 client per appointment. If you have additional members in your group they will be asked to wait outside or in the car. If you have children, please arrange for them to be minded during the appointment. If this is not possible then we can perform a curbside appointment where your pet is brought into the building and the appointment is done by phone or televideo.

When you arrive:

Please call the clinic to check-in when you arrive. You will be informed whether you may enter the building at this time. As we have increased sanitization protocols, wait times may be longer than normal. Please be understanding and patient during these times to allow us to clean sufficiently between appointments in order to keep all individuals as safe as possible.

Once in the building, you must keep your mask on and sanitize your hands. Please follow the arrows and remain in the highlighted areas to promote distancing where possible.  In the appointment room, the doctor and an assistant will be present with you and distancing measures will be in place.

Method of Payment:

We do not accept cash at this time. Please arrange to use credit, debit, e-transfer, or union pay to pay for the appointment.
